It was one of her friends suggested that we all are going to Macau!
At first, I was kinda... ooopps! This bridal shower is not for me. Like, I was thinking, I'd-rather-save-this-money kind of attitude because I was back to zero again! Argh! Here comes the following week. I was hesitant to say yes because at first I might not enjoy the trip, but my sister insists me to join because travel is worth an experience.
The flight was booked last August and the trip would be in November 2010. And to finalize the trip, 6 girls are going. The trip was always on my mind. Telling me not to spend on so much.
Here comes a week before the trip. I was excited to be honest, because this would be again my out of the country trip after my U.S. trip. and of course it's just me and my sister and her friends.
Before arriving Macau, there is this thing called TRAFFIC that everyone really bugged about. It was 30 minutes before the counter closes for check in. Y-I-K-E-S! But, thank God! We made it. =)
I was sleeping the whole time I was inside the plane. Sleeping to be ready for the night.
At long last! Macau! The Sin City of Asia.
When we arrived in Macau, I was really really excited to explore the city. To eat their food, to know their culture and to see the city of course.
Check in at The Venetian ---> First thing we did upon arriving Macau. YEY!
I fell in love with the place, like your inside of the hotel but it seems like your outside of the hotel. Get my point? haha!
The first night was freezing, good thing my sister lend me her jacket. haha! No more sleeveless, no more backless when traveling during cold season. Better check the weather forecast first. =)
The Venetian is so far the biggest hotel I've ever been to. Hmm... I think. =)
The room is very comfy with dim lights and the bathroom of course! Makes me wanna stay there for the rest of my life haha. Hotel living. =)
The very first thing we did is of course... EAT! Noodles... YUM!
We went outside and sight see Macau, but unfortunately, it almost late and establishments were already closed, we just walk around and enjoying the cold weather and of course PICTURES!
We went back and sleep and get ready for the next day.
Our second day in Macau was quite exciting... ASIA'S BILLION DOLLAR SALE, milk tea, food trippin', grocery!, and clubbing (thanks to Anne). =)
The sale was heaven! AS IN!!! 90% off on all signature brands!!! haha! and oh yeah.. shopping!
Food Trippin' - Alorcha, very very very worth it! Thanks to our kababayan workers who assisted us. And guess what, you will never be entertained if you don't have reservation. But lucky us.. we get to be served!
Alorcha is the most famous Portuguese Restaurant in Macau, to tell you.. very very very most famous and very very very most delicious.
But before I forget, I must squeeze in our favorite.. Milk tea! The best Milk Tea in the World, COME BUY!!!
Before we went back to our hotel, we went to the grocery store and bought few things we needed before the big night, like, beer! haha!
Prep night! The make up artist will be truly yours. =)
That night was the most unforgettable experience we had since we walked for two hours in our heels!!! Kuya Rico I know your our kababayan... but you tortured our feet! haha. joke, Thanks for the free sausage, Kuya Rico!
And finally, we arrived at D2 bar. Well, I quite enjoyed it since I experience clubbing in a foreign place. But the party starts at 2a.m.! Very late. But it's all worth it.
We went back to our hotel riding a cab of course, haha. sleep and ready for tomorrow since we will be heading back to manila
The thing I did during my stay in Macau was to eat EGG TART. haha. We bought make up, food trippin' again and finally, head straight to the airport, to be honest I really don't like Macau's International Airport. It's kinda old they need to renovate it. haha! Kiddin' but I really enjoyed my stay in Macau. It was all worth it!
Thank you Lord for this experience and Thank you Lord for the gift of friendship. =)
NEXT TRIP: BALI! =)
